"Tom McQueeney State farm has great customer service and a very helpful staff. However, they did just give me quite a scare when I got a call saying they were dropping me because of a ticket I received 2 years ago which they very well knew about because I took a driving course to help with the points on my license. As a 22 year old with prior tickets and an accident from when I was 15 it is hard to find an insurance company that will cover me. With that being said state farm has always been my crutch even though it was pricier than what other insurance companies were quoting me. Thankfully I was able to get covered by Progressive with a rate $100 cheaper than what I was paying with state farm. It really just felt like a kick in the butt and was scary at first because I wasn’t sure if I would be able to get insurance again. I am just a little baffled because I have been paying for 2 cars with them and about a month ago they contacted me and told me I could only have insurance on my truck and said I could try again getting insurance in 2027 on my other vehicle. And now they drop me completely. It was all very sudden and stressful because I will not be able to support myself if I cannot drive. Like I said earlier though they have a great staff but dropping me because something that happened so long ago and it’s just now a problem isn’t right or how you treat a customer who has been using y’all since I started driving."
